Notice of Election

Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, a Municipal Election for the Town of Nauvoo, Alabama will be held for the purpose of electing a Mayor; a Councilmember, Place #1; a Councilmember, Place #2; a Councilmember, Place #3; a Councilmember, Place #4; and a Councilmember, Place #5. All candidates must have resided within the municipality for at least ninety (90) days prior to Election Day, and who are qualified to vote in the county precinct which embraces and covers that part of the corporate limits of the Town of Nauvoo, Alabama. All registered and qualified electors of the State, who reside within the corporate limits of the Town of Nauvoo, Alabama, and have resided therein for thirty (30) days or more prior to this election date, will be authorized to participate in said election. Everyone will vote at one polling place: Nauvoo Community Center, 239 3rd Avenue, Nauvoo, AL 35578, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Central Daylight Time. If necessary, a run-off election will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.

Spring Cleanup

A spring cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 5th. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to come out and volunteer their time to help tidy up our town! We will be meeting at the Nauvoo Town Hall at 9:00 am. Garbage grabbers and safety vests will be provided.

The regular scheduled council meeting for the month of April has been changed from April 15th to Monday, April 14, 2025. The meeting will still start at 1:00 pm at the Nauvoo Town Hall.

The March 11th Neighborhood Watch Meeting has been canceled due to the State Senate District 5 Special Primary Election. The next Neighborhood Watch Meeting is scheduled for April 8, 2025.
